A few years ago I started making mandalas in art therapy. I started with a 4″ x 4″ book and filled it with 60 pages! Soon I filled up a larger book. When the idea of making mandalas using the work of the masters came to me, a new art form was born. My Mandalas with the Masters series is the first fruit of this inspiration, and a tribute to each of the master artists whose work I love.
I’ve always loved other artists, but nothing has given me as much pleasure as creating this work. When I start to work., I say a prayer and invite other artists to come play with me. No one has ever identified themselves, but you can tell when somebody is there because the energy changes, you get very humble, and you feel awed. You can just tell. It’s very exciting. It is bliss to work in a state like that. I cherish every moment, and I’m delighted to be able to offer a selection of the originals and fine art giclee prints of them all to you! I am happy to embellish the print of your choice for an additional fee.
The originals of these mandalas were on exhibition at Pangaea in Ashland, Oregon through August 13, 2018. I plan to continue adding to this collection.
